The interior public space is a complement of the exterior one.. The 16-story high atrium, 10 meters square, is defined by a glass floor and an inverted skylight suspended from the steel structure above. Access to the upper floors occurs via four panoramic elevators suspended from the single solid wall of this atrium. Atrium walls are covered by alternating clear and translucent glass panels revealing, or simply suggesting to the elevator passengers the office activities beyond. The glass panels at the lobby are lit from behind and decorated with printed words gravitating around various architectural meanings. The introspection conveyed by lobby and atrium is set in contrast to the pragmatism by which the building extrudes the site in order to maximize built area.
